Wednesday, Nov. 6: I’ll be sitting in with the Second Stringers for their second set, playing a few of my tunes but mostly covers on the fly. Given the date, I’m not sure what the mood will be like, but I’m looking forward to play with Lars, Nick, and Blair.

Saturday, Nov. 23: Dylan Hicks & Small Screens at the Aster Cafe with Sam & J.  Sam & J are an excellent art-folk duo, interesting lyrically, harmonically, and generally. They’ll play a half-hour opening set, and the sextet version of Small Screens follow with, let’s say, 65 minutes. We’ll likely play a few new tunes.
