Tonight I’ll be at the Highpoint Center for Printmaking with the painter, video artist, and book artist Carolyn Swiszcz. I feel a real kinship with Carolyn’s funny and lonesome work, which is why I asked her to do the cover for my last novel. We’ll talk about that collaboration, and about a very small book we put together for the show, and some of Carolyn’s recent work will be on display, and I’ll read from the novel and play a song from my album-in-progress.
